I’ve always been a bit of a prepper, but since I currently live in an area where hurricanes, volcanoes, and earthquakes are the norm, things have stepped up. The biggest issue I found was that there isn’t a lot of information available for families that want to prep.
If you have children like I do (I have four), then you know that the hardcore prepper methods aren’t necessarily going to work for your family. Things change when you have kids and you have to protect beings that are potentially too small to defend themselves. You also need to feed and nourish them, make sure they can bug out and basically, kids affect all your plans.
To combat the lack of family prepper sites out there, I decided to start Disasterproof Your Family.
